Exchange Meeting between Premier University and University of Leicester.
An exchange meeting was held jointly by Premier University and the University of Leicester. The meeting took place on Tuesday, 09 June 2026, at 11:00 AM at the GEC Mor campus of Premier University.
From Premier University, the participants included Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor S. M. Nasrul Qadir, Honorable Treasurer Professor Dr. Zahed Hossain Sikder, Registrar Mr. Mohammad Iftekhar Monir, Director of the International Affairs Office Mr. Sadat Jaman Khan, and Counselor Faiza Chowdhury.
From the University of Leicester, the attendees included Dr. Abdul Jabbar, Dean of Internationalization, School of Business, and Collaborator Mr. Navid Ejaz. From the Eurasia Institute Germany, Mr. Imran Khan, Director of Business Development, attended, along with Mr. Asaduzzaman Roni, Country Head (Bangladesh) of Edvoy, and Mr. Shovon Karmakar, Head of Student Recruitment, Bangladesh.
The exchange meeting focused on exploring various possibilities for educational and research-based collaboration between Premier University and the University of Leicester. Special attention was given to opportunities for Premier University’s Business Administration students to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Leicester and for faculty members to pursue PhD programs.
It was further highlighted that through various scholarship programs offered by the University of Leicester, meritorious students of Premier University’s Business Administration Department will have opportunities to pursue higher education not only at the University of Leicester but also at other renowned universities across Europe. Such initiatives are expected to open new horizons for students to engage with international-standard education and research.
