In his speech, the Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor S. M. Nasrul Quadir, addressed the new students, saying:
“The first semester is very important for you, as you all have come together under one roof—Premier University Campus—from different environments, places, families, and traditions. You are entirely new. Newcomers often lack control over themselves. Therefore, I am giving you practical advice to remain cautious with time and to focus on your studies. If you do not concentrate on your studies, the burden of failure may weigh upon you.”
In his speech as Special Guest, Proctor Mohammad Sulaiman Chowdhury urged students to remain attentive in their studies and to follow the university’s code of conduct.
Orientation speaker, Mr. Tanvir Shahriar Rimon said:
“Just as student life is full of challenges, life after student years also presents numerous challenges. To build a career, one must face these challenges, or else fall behind. Drawing from my long business experience, I urge you to study deeply and acquire practical knowledge about the outside world in order to build your career.”
In his presidential address, Professor M. Moinul Haque said:
“I believe today’s speeches will greatly benefit the new students in preparing themselves for their professional lives.” He wished them a bright future.
